BLSA Preamble to the Chapter's Constitution

The Florida Coastal Chapter of the National Black Law Students Association recognizes the need of involvement of Black law students in Florida Coastal School of Law. The purpose of this Association is to address issues related to the Black legal community; promote a sense of security academically, socially and professionally; foster a conscious awareness of diversity at this legal institution; and provide a network to ensure the needs of Florida Coastal’s Black students are met.

Opening Ceremony for Black History Month

BLSA will hold its Black History Month Opening Ceremony on
Monday, February, 1st from 6:00 pm- 7:30 pm in the Atrium.

Our Black History Month theme this year:
"The shoulders on which we stand, their dreams propel us."

Join us for an evening of great food, entertainment, some Black history, and a preview of the exciting events we have planned for the month of February!

Suggested attire is "Sunday Best", or feel free to come as you are!
Can't wait to see you ALL there!
