SRBLSA TM Mock Trial/FD Moot Court Competitions

Our Mock Trial and Moot Court Teams SHINED during the SRBLSA/MBLSA Joint Regional Convention this past weekend in Baton Rouge, Louisiana:

Our Mock Trial Team members, Ruby Green, Adrianne Irish, Jaimee McDowell and Clarence Sydnor won an unprecedented FIRST PLACE (out of 20 teams) in the Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Competition, making this win the first for Florida Coastal School of Law's Mock Trial Team!

The team will next move on to compete against other top competitors from law schools of each BLSA region in the NBLSA Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Competition in Boston, Massachusetts this March.

The Frederick Douglass Moot Court Team, Sharisse Campbell and Jorja Carr also placed in the top eight (out of 16) of their competition. We are proud of them!

CONGRATULATIONS to both teams, Way to represent the James Weldon Johnson Chapter and FCSL!
